Born in collaboration with mountain sports professionals, the flagship trousers of the ALPINE CHALLENGE line evolve into the EVO version. We have taken the legacy of the previous version to emphasize its strengths and further improve its distinctive features. 

SUMMIT EVO is the all-round trousers for those who frequent alpine environments in autumn/winter and need protection and warmth combined with breathability and lightness. The base fabric is water-repellent SCHOELLER® DRYSKIN, which is windproof, lightweight, thermal, and breathable while maintaining good snagging resistance. It features a generous front reinforcement in TITANIAL®, offering high resistance to abrasion and tearing without compromising weight or softness. Is it waterproof? SUMMIT EVO features waterproof mapping with CLIMADRY technology. 

CLIMADRY is a special waterproof membrane that combines water resistance with the warmth and softness of a micro-fleece against the skin. The membrane is applied only to the front part and the seat (see img.) to protect you from wet undergrowth during movement or long waits in the snow. The rest of the trousers, being membrane-free, ensure high breathability, and two rear ventilation zippers are included to dissipate excess heat. To guarantee comfort and freedom of movement, a comfort zone has been inserted in the lumbar area along with a seat made of KETRATEX stretch. A convenient built-in gaiter at the bottom, combined with the front attachment hook and adjustment zippers, ensures a snug, comfortable, and protective fit over the boot.

Our products are made to last and follow you on the most extreme adventures. Proper care of the product can extend its life, here are some simple recommendations:

Washing instructions are printed on the white label inside our garments. Follow the instructions correctly at each wash cycle to avoid damaging the product.

Wash Trabaldo® products whenever necessary, remembering in general these simple precautions: wash with hot water at low temperatures (30°) or in cold water with a delicate detergent, leaving the product to dry flat.

In general avoid spin cycles, aggressive detergents, drying in the tumbler dryer and the use of the iron.

All our waterproof garments have a DWR (durable water repellent) treatment on the face fabrics, which prevents water absorption and the consequent weighing down of the garment. If after numerous adventures and washes the water no longer flows away quickly from the fabrics it will be necessary to reactivate the treatment with the help of our Hunting Spray.
