Waterproof 3-layer hard-shell with Alpine Challenge DNA. ALTURA was created for mountain hunters who need to have a lightweight, low bulk, protective third layer with them at all times, providing a reliable ally against rain, snow and wind. RAINSYSTEM waterproof membrane with a 3-layer construction will keep you dry by preventing water absorption of outer fabrics and eliminating any inner lining on the garment, which would increase its weight ( 550 gr. size L). A new hood is designed to the smallest details keeping in mind those long rainy days in the mountains. The adjustable back drawstring provides better ergonomics, while the more advanced visor combined with the front drainage canal provide higher protection from the elements. ALTURA doesn't give up ruggedness where it's needed thanks to contoured KETRETEX STRETCH inserts on the shoulders, elbows, underarms and hips, protecting the areas of major friction during backpacking. Ventilation zippers are placed in the underarm, allowing heat and excess perspiration to be wicked away during prolonged activity. ALTURA is completed with two large front pockets, one inside pocket and an adjustment drawstring at the bottom.

Our products are made to last and follow you on the most extreme adventures. Proper care of the product can extend its life, here are some simple recommendations:

Washing instructions are printed on the white label inside our garments. Follow the instructions correctly at each wash cycle to avoid damaging the product.

Wash Trabaldo® products whenever necessary, remembering in general these simple precautions: wash with hot water at low temperatures (30°) or in cold water with a delicate detergent, leaving the product to dry flat.

In general avoid spin cycles, aggressive detergents, drying in the tumbler dryer and the use of the iron.

All our waterproof garments have a DWR (durable water repellent) treatment on the face fabrics, which prevents water absorption and the consequent weighing down of the garment. If after numerous adventures and washes the water no longer flows away quickly from the fabrics it will be necessary to reactivate the treatment with the help of our Hunting Spray.
